About Hannah
Our Story
To The Pointe-Shoe Store was founded in 2020 by Hannah Grimes, a certified pointe shoe fitter and former ballet dancer with a lifelong passion for the art of dance. With an undergraduate degree in finance and an MBA from the University of Southern Mississippi, Hannah combined her business expertise and extensive ballet background to create a full-service dance boutique in Tupelo, MS.
After relocating to Tupelo for her husband’s career, Hannah continued teaching ballet and quickly recognized the need for a store that truly understood dancers’ needs—especially when it came to pointe shoes. That realization led to the creation of To The Pointe, a place where every dancer is treated with care, expertise, and a deep understanding of the artform.
Hannah is a certified pointe shoe fitter and personally handles fittings with precision, ensuring each dancer walks out with a shoe that promotes both performance and foot health. Having worn pointe shoes herself for many years, she knows exactly how they should feel, fit, and function.
In addition to running her business, Hannah is active in the community. She serves as Treasurer for the United States Tennis Association CTA board, Production Chairman for Distinguished Young Women of Lee County, and Secretary of the Tupelo Women’s Club. She continues to teach ballet and serves as the accountant for her husband’s full-time tennis academy.

As a full-service dance boutique specializing in professionally fitting pointe shoes, we are committed to promoting healthy technique, confidence, and style—both in and out of the studio. We proudly support our local community by offering a carefully curated selection of dancewear, gymnastics, and athletic apparel designed to meet the unique needs of every performer. Our inventory includes dance brands such as Ballet Rosa, Bloch, Capezio, Danznmotion, Eurotard, Nikolay, Gaynor Minden, Lulli, Russian Pointe, SoDanca, Reflectionz, Energetiks, etc. in styles for toddlers through adults. Shoe selections for ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, musical theater, lyrical and beyond will be professionally fit by our trained team of current and former dancers.
